Hi all, I have been having a lot of fun playing with small stamped paper elements. I find that having a gathering of little pieces provides so many options when it comes to designing the card front (or scrap layout) I also like that when running a workshop this way, the guests (having done the hard yards making the elements lol) get to break out and go wild with their layouts!!!! Even the most cautious crafter feels a sense of readiness when they have a pile of little beauties in front of them. Here is an example of a workshop card using this idea:

really really want to scrap!!

...the good news is that workshop wise, i have been very busy. it's been loads of fun but i'm chomping at the bit for a little scrapping time. when my 3rd baby was born i decided to scrap him a page for every month in his first year which i'm pleased to say i did - but...now he is 16 months old and i haven't completed a single page since his 1st birthday. *sigh* if only the house would clean itself and grade 6 homework wasn't so hard lol and the nearly 3 year old so interested in crafting herself!! bless them really...here is some workshop work i have done recently...

nothin like a workshop to get me busy!

I finally bought the Petal Pizzazz set this week and it hasn't disappointed! I originally wanted it to clear emboss on patterned paper or to clear emboss the large flower over the stamped smaller flowers in the set. I also thought it was a great set for demo'ing pastels. I haven't done any of these things yet thou! I have just really enjoyed plain ol' simple stamping with it:) with a little 'rock n roll' in the ink to 'texture up' the colour. I'm going to demo this card at a workshop on the weekend for the 'make n take'. Hopefully the guests will like it! xox
